Byrdle is a new Wordle subsection relating common words to choral music. The words can be anything, including proper names, musical terms, or even non-English words, as long as they relate to choral music.
Similar to Wordle, players attempt to decode a six-letter Byrdle puzzle daily. If a letter is green, it means the word is where it should be, but yellow letters indicate that the word is not where it should be, and gray letters indicate that the word is not in any position in the word at all. Players have a total of six chances to guess, but they can only participate once per day.
Players have some control over the game's settings, most of which affect their perspective. In the settings menu, you'll find options for "Dark mode," "Color-blind mode," and "Preferred font mode" (for a "genuine Chorus experience"). The "Hard Mode" feature allows players to increase the difficulty of the game by requiring them to use an appropriate letter in each subsequent guess.
